Corrections Policy

Evidence can be challenged.

Effective 13 July 2026

Who may request review

Site owners, administrators, authorized representatives, security providers, and affected users may submit a correction request. Your relationship to the subject must be disclosed.

What to provide

Include the report ID, the specific finding being challenged, verifiable counter-evidence, relevant timestamps, and a safe way to confirm authority. Never send passwords, private keys, or recovery information.

How review works

We compare the request with preserved evidence and current observations. A request may result in a correction, clarification, updated scan, unchanged finding, or removal where retention is no longer justified.

Independence

Payment, partnership status, advertising relationships, and legal threats do not purchase a particular outcome. Material changes are recorded with a reason and time.

Urgent cases

For active phishing, exposed personal information, or a security issue, email report@linkwitness.com and identify the urgency without attaching sensitive data.
