Acceptable Use Policy

Use the service to reduce harm.

Allowed use

You may use LinkWitness to assess links you are authorized to review, investigate suspected abuse, protect users, conduct defensive research, and document evidence for a legitimate correction or report.

Prohibited use

Do not use the service to harass or defame, probe private systems, evade access controls, expose personal information, automate abusive traffic, test stolen credentials, facilitate fraud, or make unlawful decisions about individuals.

Automation and rate limits

Automated access must respect published limits and technical controls. Circumventing limits, distributing credentials, or degrading availability is prohibited.

Submitted material

Submit only material you are permitted to share. Remove secrets and unnecessary personal information. You remain responsible for the legality and accuracy of your submission.

Enforcement

We may restrict or suspend abusive access, preserve relevant audit records, and cooperate with lawful requests. Good-faith security research and correction activity will be considered in context.
